Training

Calais Fire - EMS is committed to providing professional, well trained personnel to the Citizens of Calais and beyond.  With the incorporation of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) into the department, many hours of EMS training have been completed for licensed and unlicensed personnel within the department.  Additionally, firefighting skills are being taught to new full-time and per diem personnel through a Basic Fire School.  Calais Fire-EMS is working toward a fully integrated and cross trained Fire and EMS Department.

Training for the up coming months is as follows

EMT Basic class starting January 2012 Call W.C.C.C to register.

Fire Instructor 1 & 2 course starting January 24th W.C.C.C SEE Captain Purton, Dave Sullivan or Paula Frost.

Need all annual M.B.L.S training completed A.S.A.P see the training board. All members also need to complete there PPE inspections.
