The Calais Fire Explorers was developed to help young adults experience the fire service first hand. We have had much success with the program do to the dedication of Captain Purton and the explorers. The department has benefited greatly with their participation from the fire ground to fund raisers. The explorers have also participated with our training so they can provide better support. If you would like to learn more about this great program call the fire department at 207-454-7400.
